Time to Get out the Pack n' Play

Well, Ty hit one of his big milestones today. This morning Jared set Ty on the floor on his back and went into the other room for a minute. When he came back Ty was on his stomach. He stepped out again, and then he was on his back again. Then later Jared put him on the floor to play and was sitting on the couch when he nodded off for a minute. When he looked down, Tyler was not where he put him. After a moment of panic he heard a crinkling sound and Ty had rolled about 2 feet towards the piano and was chewing on the REI Catalog (he really is an outdoor kid). Then I was playing with him on the floor as Jared was getting ready for class and he rolled right to his stomach, though he's been doing that for a while. Then Jared was walking out the door, I looked up to say goodbye and Ty took the opportunity and we both just caught him flip right over to his back. We kind of startled him with our reactions, but he smiled real big once he realized we were excited. Good thing I've been preparing for this by cleaning the floors and baby proofing. And as Jared said when I got home, it's time to bust out the pack n' play.

Wow! I can't believe it! Rolling from tummy to back is one thing, but back to tummy, that's quite a feat! Impressive little guy! Oh, what fun this stage is...bwuhahahaha! ;)

How exciting! It is so much fun to see them reach milestones like, that but it also keeps you busy trying to child proof more. Go Tyler!

WOW! Tyler is amazing! Soren isn't even close to doing that yet. He is just content to chatter away and play with his hands and toys on the floor.

Very fun! That's such a cute pic of him! I love this stage with babies. Six months is by far my favorite!
