Weekend at Grandma's

We spent this last President's Day weekend over at my parents house and decided it was time to shoot some portraits of our cute little two month old.

We took tons of pictures and I wish I could post them all, but they take forever to load, and blogger probably wouldn't appreciate that.

They turned out really well, except that the sun would not cooperate, imagine that. I still think they are priceless however and can't wait to develop some and plug them into the scrapbook made for me at my baby shower.

We also put him back in his blessing outfit and took some pictures of him. He was blessed in the same blanket Jared was blessed in, which is the blanket he is laying on in these pictures.

We took a whole backpack of cute clothes to put him in, and we only made it through a few before he was too tired to want to take more pictures. This outfit is one of my favorites, he looks so good in stripes and this onezie looks like a big boy shirt to me and is just so cute!

Here is when he is starting to get a bit tired and cranky. :( Good thing Dad is there to soothe and put him to bed.

On Sunday we went to the park with my mom and Becca. Tyler is definitely an outdoor boy, he loved being outside and watching the trees.

(Doesn't dad look nice in his new fancy shirt from JC Penny's? It was a whopping $2.97)

He also got to swing for the first time with mommy.

And go down his first slide with daddy. Daddy, of course, took him down the tallest slide possible, once again illustrating the great difference between Tyler's over cautious, protective mom and his fun loving dad. At least he'll have balance in his life.

Hopefully I haven't overloaded you all with pictures, but I had to share some of these super cute photos. I guess I aught to learn how to add slide shows to my blog.

Hey Rachel- Cute pictures. Going to the park seems more for the parents than the kids at this point. Charlotte is sitting up well enough I but her in the swing with a blanket behind her. She loves it. I think we were supposed to get together yesterday but I totally forgot until today... Sorry about that. We'll have to plan another play date.
