"Loki" update

Here are the latest ultra sound pictures of "Loki" I have a ton of them. The technician said she wished all babies were this photogenic. She apologized for being a little "click happy". I thought it was just fine. I love seeing the pictures.I think he is so cute already!This is my favorite.And of course the drama King pose.I'm so lucky with the ultra sounds I got. Though, he did get a little lecture on the way there from dad to be cooperative. Apparently he decided to listen.

Ty day to day

Here are some more recent pictures of Ty, from just a couple weeks ago. (now that I'm more caught up.) He loves to play in the cupboards while I'm making dinner. It's very cute, but not always very convenient.

And here is Ty showing he is the same size as a dinosaur footprint.


Ty has taken about 5 slow and deliberate steps on 2 different occasions, and always when I'm not there to see it :( He loves to talk to people on the phone (or yell at them) swims in the bath tub (kicks and everything) and laughs the biggest belly laugh when playing with his daddy or getting licked to death by Mousse (our lab). He's not attached to any blankie or toy, just his baby spoons and his binki. The binki he now has to give up in order to get out of his crib (though his dad is more of a stickler about it than me and he knows it) and he loves to have one spoon in each hand, even while he's crawling around the house. He now runs to the door to greet me as soon as I come home from work and wants to go outside. He brightens up my day and sleeps through the night, which also brightens up my day. He makes me laugh constantly and is the cutest little boy in the whole world.

Here are hours (or minutes) of video entertainment, though, it's probably much more exciting for me than for you. Here is Ty with his army crawl around Halloween, playing at the park by g-ma and g-pa's, eating cake at his 1st b-day, ty walking with his new car he got for his b-day.

New floor Remodel

So we decided Tile was too hard on knees and little babies heads, so we took one saturday and put in new laminate wood flooring. Thanks to a lot of help from family and friends, we started at about 8 and were done by 4. Though, the transitions are still not in yet.

Milestone

Real Fast, just wanted to announce that Ty took his first two steps all by his self today. Woo hoo Ty!!

Catch-up continued

Rocking Rudolf, for the first few weeks after G-ma got this Ty would scream with terror whenever he was near this thing. He eventually overcame his fear as you can see.

It's hard to keep pants on when you don't have a butt.


Ty often looks longingly outside, he LOVES the outdoors!


Best Buds already, Moose is actually really good with Ty.


Again, Telling us he wants to be outside, he's big into pointing now. Can you tell he's been crawling all over the dirty floor, poor pants.

This would be the main reason he was pointing outside, he loves his swing.

Am I a boy or a girl???

ANOTHER BOY!!!!!
Before Ty was born we called him Thor. This one we call "Loki". Jared and his sister came up with this one and it just stuck. Unfortunately I think they have cursed us because Loki is the Nordic god of mischief. And I can tell one thing for sure so far, he is very active and strong.
They said everything looks healthy though they did find a cyst in his brain. They said this is fairly common however and should go away in a few weeks with no problems left behind. In some rare cases it can cause some birth defects. Personally, I think it means he's going to get my freaky thumbs, much to the chagrin of his father.
